Just three days to “Somewhere… and More”: “Great is the Lord! (He is Worthy of Our Praises)”

"Somewhere... and More" coverSomewhere… and More: The Lyrics of J.M. Hardin comes out in just three days and each day until its release I’ll be posting a different excerpt to help you see why if you love my short story He’s With the Band I bet you’ll want to get Somewhere… and More. You don’t have to wait for it to be released to get your name on a copy of the ebook because you can preorder it for $2.99 now at Smashwords, Apple’s iBooks, and Barnes & Noble’s Nook Store.

Today’s excerpt comes from one of the songs I’ve sung that have actually been performed, which is something I can’t say for any of the songs in He’s With the Band. After the lyrics you’ll find the details on the only time this song has ever been sung.

There was once a man named Saul
He persecuted the Christians
‘Till the Lord met him out on the road
And said, “It’s hard when you kick against Me.”
Then old Paul became a man of God
He preached the gospel with all of his heart
He helped the Christians to grow in Christ
Until his dying day

Great is the Lord!
He is worthy of our praises
Great is the Lord!
Let us sing forever more!
(Repeat)

There are twomore days to preview Somewhere… and More before its release and six songs to select previews from. I’ve been working through the book as I post previews, but I’m jumping back toward the front to catch a song I passed over earlier. I think you’ll like what I have in mind.
